Firstly, I have to give all credit to my hair stylist Emily Holland. She is wonderful! She does it all. If you are interested in making an appointment with her, please do not hesitate to contact me to get her information. You will not regret it!
My hair is very unique...to say the least :/ I have naturally curly hair and (usually) I hate it. However, Emily recommended a curling shaping cream by Ion and it works wonders on my head haha! I bought it at Sally's for $6. When I wear my hair curly, I normally put the product in towel dried hair and then let it naturally dry while I put on my makeup. I also use a diffuser...which I just figured out how to use! Yay! My hair isn't really "curly", it is mostly waves. It drives me nuts with all the frizziness, though.
Soooo....my solution to this problem is to straighten it. I have straightened my hair for as long as I can remember. I have used several different flat irons, but the one that works the best for me is Chi. I use a straightening cream and heat protection products when I style my hair straight. One tip that I find useful is the type of brush that you use. I have thick hair, so I use a large paddle brush that has bristles close together. This helps straighten out the curl and help with frizz. If you have fine, thin hair, you might want to try using a round brush to add volume.
