Daily Makeup

Hi! Today I thought I'd do a post on the makeup that I wear each day. I've had a couple of my friends ask recently, so I thought I'd share! It is very simple!

Honestly, now that it is summer, I don't wear makeup that much. In fact, I rarely wear makeup to work. But, when I do, my two crucial pieces are eyeliner and mascara. I also wear foundation and facial bronzer..but not always. Sometimes I'm lazy! haha

I use Falsie's mascara in Blackest Black. This mascara works the best for me. I have really sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what kind of products I use. As for eyeshadows, I use a little bit of everything. My aunt always gives me Estee Lauder gift bags for Christmas and they have such good stuff in them! They last forever too. Not too long ago I bought a palette of eyeshadows from Ross and it works great! Some of the colors are a little extreme, but overall I like it. It's called Profusion. I bought it for about $4 and there's probably about 50 different eyeshadow colors!

I use Estee Lauder eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, facial bronzer, and makeup remover. For foundation, I use Clinique's liquid and powder mix in honey matte. I love love love this stuff. I have oily skin, so this type of foundation works great for me!

For eyeshadow application, I use a mix or brushes, sponges and my newest love...Q-tips! In one of the gifts my aunt bought me, there was a full makeup brush set. Love love love it. Every girl needs to invest in a brush set. It will change your life! I use a sponge when I apply foundation. I usually use a brush when I apply eye shadow, blush, bronzer, etc, but recently I've discovered that Q-tips work wonders. They make a special kind that is flat on one end and pointy on another. Personally, I like the way Q-tips smudge and blend eyeshadows. Give it a try! :)

As far as lips, I still LOVE Revlon LipButter. Great stuff. I don't use this everyday, though. For everyday use, Nivea's plain chap stick works the best! I'm a simple girl. I don't like anything too flashy. Bath and Body Works also sells lip glosses that are wonderful. I have one in "mint" and I love it.

So that's it! Just a simple post for today. I know these products are a little more expensive than what I normally talk about, but makeup is one product that I will splurge on. Sometimes you really have to! Do what is healthy for your skin! Healthy skin is happy skin :)
